-
Apply the medication to the affected areas of the scalp.
-
Gently massage the medication into the scalp using your fingers.
-
Blot any excess medication to prevent it from running onto your face.
-
Remove excess medication from your face with soap and water to avoid hair growth in unintended areas.
-
Wash your hands with soap immediately after application.
-
Avoid washing your hair or wetting the treated area for at least 4 hours.
Tips
-
To prevent breakage, use a wide-tooth comb on new hair growth.
-
If you miss an application, apply the next dose at the usual time. Set a phone reminder to ensure consistency.
-
Do not apply more than recommended by your treating physician. Overuse may increase the risk of side effects without improving results.
